My block was pieced and stitched with love and compassion for all those caught up in Katrina. There's little parts for Australia, with the map, the wattle and the kookaburra. The colours and the music are for New Orleans. The fullness of the embellishment is me, I can't help filling in every space.
Good luck with the quilts, I hope you make plenty of money for the people of New Orleans. Hopefully the money can ease the burdens a little.
