Samplers, embroidery doodle cloths and explorations of stitches

This is part of a sampler which was stitched on a hand printed foundation of cloth. The disk shapes are from floppy disks I pulled apart and then inked up to print with. Hand painted Aida cotton cloth foundation with Back stitch, rice stitch, French Knots, bullion knots, buttonhole bars and cross stitch.

This was a 'doodle cloth' I worked when I was working on the Samplers and Sampling series.
