This is a response to living in the place Australian's love to criticize the ‘bush capital’ Canberra. The stereotype is that Canberra is riddled with public servants who are wealthy and out of touch. This of course is not so. The community of Canberra varies as it does in any other city in Australia. Sometimes however this stereotype – as with any stereotype makes the path of life a bit uncomfortable - a bit like walking barefoot in the bush. If ever you have looked at the floor of leaves and twigs on the bush floor you will know that you need to wear shoes.

I started laying down some rough threads with couching and then proceeded to liberally dot about the area with French knots and stitches such as Bullion and Basque knots. Wooden beads were added between Oyster stitch and towards the end some cast on stitch and buttonhole bars were added further texture.
