I had lots of ideas for my block but I do admit, I struggled with it a bit. Jazz is not my favorite type of music and I'm not much of a party girl so Mardi Gras, although colorful which I love, was a bit beyond my comprehension.
I decided to go with a more natural (and comfortable) set of symbols:
I'm very pleased with how my block worked up. It has a great flow of energy, like the music it represents but it has a natural tone to it which is much more suitable to my own personality. It's bright and colorful, yet still soft.
