Seam embellishment stitch combination 10, 11, 12

The next three combinations start with buttonhole worked as a scallop. This scallop can be worked in Berwick stitch. No 10 has a tulip stitch (which is an arrangement detached chain with two loops threaded under the tie) dropped low on the line with 2 with straight stitches arranged either side. French knots, sequins or beads can be placed at the base.

No 11 starts with the same base only this time a zig zag of chain stitch in interspersed with a floral motif made with a quarter Buttonhole wheel At its base 3 detached chain stitches form 'leaves' and once again French knots, sequins or beads can be placed at the base.

No 12 is really No 10 with the little floral motifs being made up of quarter Buttonhole wheels.

Seam embellishment stitch combination 13 and 14

These are both based on a row of herringbone. The first is interspersed with straight stitch arranged in a ray. No 14 is three detached chain stitches and two straight stitches topped off with French knots, sequins or beads.

Seam embellishment stitch combination 15 and 16

These are both based on a row of tied herringbone which is a row of herringbone tied with little straight stitches at the cross.

No 15 is interspersed with 5 detached chain stitches arranged like a flower. Along the base are a row of butterflies which are worked with triple chain stitch and finished off with straight stitch.

No 16 is two rows of tied herringbone with the motif of 5 detached chain stitches arranged like a flower placed along the center. In both cases they can be topped off with French knots, sequins or beads.
